The climate in Syria is dry and hot, and winters are mild. Because of the country's elevation, snowfall does occasionally occur during winter.
When to visit
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are best periods for a Syrian vacation because the weather is nice.
Summer is very hot and humid on the coast and hot and dry inland.
Winters are cold and rainy and many hotels don't have heating.
