Hot tropical climate is temperated by breezes. The dry season lasts from November to April. The wet season is hot, humid and windy and hurricanes can strike any time between August and October.
When to go
Best time is November-December and June-July. The weather is nice, the island is not crowded and prices are low.
The peak season, December to April is also fine weather wise but is not a good idea to go there this time if you are on budget.
