Morocco is an intriguing mix of cultures, bringing together Islam, African and Berber influences with a French twist.
Spread between the crowded beaches of Agadir and the oases of the Sahara desert, it has pretty much all a traveler could wish for, from great trekking opportunities and impressive sights of the Atlas Mountains to colorful spice markets where you can still get a taste of the past in all its glory.
Although enjoying a Mediterranean climate, Morocco will surprise you with ski resorts in Oukaimeden, and you can also try some golf courses in the luxurious clubs of Bouznika.
But in order to find the true local flavor it will definitely worth taking a walk in the labyrinth-like streets of Fez, bargaining in the souks of Marrakech or visiting the King Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca – be warned, though: the Humphrey Bogart film was actually shot in Florida, so don't expect too much romance from the port city.
