Located east of Africa, in the Indian Ocean, Madagascar has a unique wildlife, 80% of which can be found nowhere else in the world. Famous for its lemurs, the island is a perfect sample of biodiversity offering a spectacular mix of deserts and rainforests, stunning beaches and volcanoes, palm trees and unusual flowers.
Its archipelagos linked by coral reefs and bathed by crystal waters are a great spot for diving and snorkeling, but you should also visit the limestone formations in Tsingy, the waterfalls of Montagne d’Ambre or the carved and painted graves of the Mahafaly tribe for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. |
