On the northern edge of the country (the Caspian coastal plain) temperatures nearly fall below freezing and remain humid for the rest of the year. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 29 °C.

he coastal plains of the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman in southern Iran have mild winters, and very humid and hot summers.
When to go
Best times to visit Iran are April to June, and September to November, this way you will skip the cold northern winter and hot summer. Also remember that in the summer prices go high along the Caspian coast.
During the Ramadan, considered the most venerated and blessed month of the Islamic year, eating, drinking or smoking in public from sunrise to sunset are prohibited. Also, no alcohol serving in public places. Still would be interesting to visit Iran or any other islamic country this period, just to observe the atmosphere and local customs.
